Definitely definitely so um we’re going to talk about her man, uh treniga, johnson um, the super bantam, who is ranked number one out of three in melbourne victoria uh and she is ranked 7th out of 153 in the world uh this 27 year old orthodox is coming Off of a brilliant uh majority decision win over melissa, esquivel back on april 20th uh this year, guys, if you didn’t get a chance to see that definitely check that belt out.
That was for the vacant international boxing federation world female super bantam title try to say that three times fast but um she is.
She is a boxer uh originally born in uh, new zealand and uh.
She is the second memory and third new zealand citizen woman to win a world boxing title after her split decision win over as quick as quibble uh for the ibf super bantum title.
This fight was close, but johnson superior fitness gave her the edge it showed when squibble was hammered with a knee injury during the fight johnson used the basics with her jab, which helped her win.
The fight johnson showed a lot of respect for her opponent in the post fight interview when she said i knew that she’d come to fight and i knew that she’d be tough and she was ready to brawl and definitely guys.
This was brawl.
Both girls went at it uh, you know in in great fashion and honestly, shanika johnson comes out uh, you know the victory of this one and uh you know has now set history kind of being.
You know the second uh mayor descent and the third um new zealander to win them out, which is great um.
You know she’s held this bill now for a few days.
Uh.
Congratulations to her in her career johnson has won three major boxing titles, which also include winning the wba oceana female bantam title in 2017, against filipino boxer, um gretel de paz and the wiba bantam title 2018.
and in 2021 johnson fought shannon o’connell for the wba gold.
Female bantam title, this fight was very close.
Um, however, shannon o’connell won uh the fight by split decision, but shunika believes that she was the victory in this one uh guys.

It’S definitely a great fight man uh, you know she’s a champion of two titles.
This girl, she’s, uh she’s, definitely one to watch man and um.
Honestly, i’m super excited that uh.

So shernika as she’s known super nix johnson she’s, a bantamweight pro boxer born in new zealand and currently residing in melbourne as an amateur boxer.
Um sugar nicks, represented australian.
Four world championships and was able to travel to countries like china, turkey and bulgaria.
She also had a chance to train for the olympic trials at the flyweight division.
She had more than 60 fights before attorney perot and signing with hoskins promotions.
She made her professional debut in april of 2016, with an impressive tko win and has since got 12 straight victories.
Uh, you know, as curly holds a dominant 13.
She currently held the 13 and no dominant record until that one loss that i’m talking about with the ocado fight, so definitely you’re going to want to check that out.
She now has a record of 14 on one with six knockouts guys she is a champion now.
She is wearing that ivf world female super bantam, title and uh.
You know only sky’s the limit we’ll get to see this girl definitely uh before the end of the years up.

She does have very powerful jabs and does put those combos together very brilliantly.
Uh she’s got a great boxing iq man.
She knows how to play those angles in the ring.
She knows how to play those levels and she’s not afraid to get in there and do work.
She kind of reminds me of another champion that we know of the same descent miyamoto right, so this is uh.

Is it man it’s looking really good? It’S looking really good and um.
Honestly, i’m stoked that uh, you know she’s now wearing the championship belt.
She definitely deserves it and guys.
We, i hope we get to see her defend this belt before the year is up, because, honestly, i just like enjoying watching this girl fighting the ring.
You know sugar, nicks you’re, my girl, man, we’re watching you we’re definitely going to reach out to you, get a hold of you and try and get you in on here for an interview, and after after this big win, she called out none other than ebony bridges.
So she’s looking uh she’s looking at bang uh, you know she’s looking to bang some gloves with ebony.

I follow them through thick and thin.
I followed them from the beginning.
I’Ve been watching these girls for years and watching them come up through their paid ranks and honestly she is an amazing girl.
She is a great fighter, honestly great hands, great speed, great defense.
Definitely the recipe for a champion, and you know what she’s wearing a belt and guys we’re going to get this here and defend that belt before this year is up, and hopefully we get to see her jump in that room with ebony bridges.
Man, because you know ebony just makes fun fights.
Man and honestly, i think these two together banging it out would be an excellent fight to watch and uh i’m pushing for it man, you’re hearing here you heard it here – man mike or at four on the club.
