Zylok Incarnon Genesis (2024)

Zylok Incarnon Genesis is an item that is used to add Incarnon upgrades to the Zylok or ZylokPrime.

Acquisition[]

• Upon completion of The Duviri Paradox and Angels of the Zariman, and unlocking The Steel Path, players can earn ZylokIncarnonGenesis from The Circuit's Steel Path to place on their Zylok with the help of Cavalero in the Chrysalith. This Incarnon Genesis form grants it evolutions to a transformation and newfound strength.

Evolutions[]

• Installing the Zylok Incarnon Genesis requires 20 PathosClamps, 70 YaoShrubs, and 100 NacreousPebbles.
• When installed, the first Evolution tier is unlocked. The following Evolution tiers, their requirements for unlocking them, and their related perks, are shown below;
  • Each challenge additionally grants 5,000 affinity to the weapon, affected by Affinity Boosters.

Evolution I[]

• Headshots charge Incarnon Transmutation; Alt Fire transmutes. Switching back will expend any remaining charge.
• Charge a large single shot that deals Radial Heat Damage.
  • Incarnon Form shoots charged explosive lasers with a 0.6 second charge time, inflicts pure Heat damage on the explosion, and explodes in a 6 meter radius, with increased base damage, Critical Chance, and Status Chance. However direct hits no longer deals Slash damage, it has significantly slower Fire Rate, and the explosion possesses linear Damage Falloff from 100% to 40% from central impact.
    • Incarnon Form trigger must be fully charged to fire.
• Mode switching is not instantaneous and has an animation equal to the weapon's reload speed.
• Incarnon Form is activated by filling the Incarnon Transmutation gauge that appears under the reticule by achieving headshots and then pressing the Alternate Fire button. 12 headshots will completely fill the gauge. A full gauge is not required to activate Incarnon Form.
  • Charges generate only on headshots, and not other weakspots, such as the backpacks of most MOA variants. Similarly, shooting weakspots generated by either Sonar or DetectVulnerability in places other than heads will have no effect either.
  • Headshots on corpses do not build charges.
  • Individual Multishot bullets can build charges.
• Instead of drawing ammunition from its reserves, the Zylok's Incarnon Form uses a separate "magazine" with each charge producing 1 round to a maximum of 12. Once all ammunition is expended, the Zylok reverts to its normal form.
  • Incarnon Form's magazine is not affected by mods.
  • Incarnon Form is not affected by Ammo Efficiency (such as EnergizedMunitions).
  • Charges and Incarnon Form persists through all activities, such as holstering, bleedout, or being disarmed. However, charges and Incarnon Form are removed upon death.
• Swapping to and from Incarnon Form will fully reload the normal form's magazine.

Evolution II[]

• Unlock Challenge: Complete a solo mission with this weapon equipped.
• Perk 1: Precision's Payoff:
  • Increase Damage by +76 (Zylok) / +30 (Prime).
  • On Burst Headshots: Increase Damage by +20 (Zylok) / +20 (Prime). Stacks up to 3x.
    • Stacks are generated if both shots from holding and releasing Zylok's trigger are headshots.
    • Stacks are shown as a buff, which are lost on reload or switching to Incarnon Form.
    • Incarnon Form cannot trigger burst headshots, as it has a Charge trigger instead of Duplex.
• Perk 2: Mauler's Magazine:
  • Increase Damage by +76 (Zylok) / +30 (Prime).
  • On Reload From Empty: Increase Critical Damage Multiplier by +1x (Zylok) / +1x (Prime). Stacks up to 2x.
    • Stacks are shown as a buff, which are lost when reloading from a partial magazine or on death.

Evolution III[]

• Unlock Challenge: Kill 100 enemies with this weapon's Incarnon Form.
• Perk 1: Extended Volley:
  • Increase Magazine Capacity by +12 (Zylok) / +18 (Prime).
    • Does not apply to Incarnon Form.
• Perk 2: Rapid Reinforcement:
  • +50% Reload Speed.
• Perk 3: Void's Guidance:
  • Increase Accuracy and reduce Recoil by +60%.

Evolution IV[]

• Unlock Challenge: Kill 20 enemies with 4 or more active Status Effects.
  • SecondaryEncumber, Voruna's FangsofRaksh, and Citrine's FracturedBlast and PrismaticGem are effective at spreading numerous status effects. Consider reducing Ability Strength so these abilities do not take away Zylok's kills.
• Perk 1: Survivor's Edge:
  • Increase Critical Chance by +20% (Zylok) / +22% (Prime).
  • Increase Status Chance by +20% (Zylok) / +16% (Prime).
• Perk 2: Commodore's Fortune:
  • Increase Critical Chance by +32% (Zylok) / +30% (Prime).
• Perk 3: Fatal Affliction:
  • +40% Direct Damage per Status Type affecting the target.

Known Bugs[]

• Incarnon Form's radial attack is not affected by multishot, despite direct damage working as normal with multishot.
